About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Data Product Owner with strong hands-on experience in Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark, Kafka, Python and advanced SQL, and experience with healthcare data.
You’ll design, build and support scalable data pipelines and platforms in complex healthcare environments, taking ownership of solutions from design through production. Experience with claims, eligibility, membership, provider, clinical or pharmacy data is highly desirable. You’ll translate complex business and technical requirements into working solutions and communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders.
Exposure to AI and GenAI is a strong plus, as the platform is expanding into automation, metadata management, data quality and intelligent data engineering.
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years of senior-level data engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Snowflake.
- Advanced SQL and strong Python.
- Apache Spark / PySpark and Apache Kafka.
- A strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data modeling, data warehousing and lakehouse architecture.
- Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and Databricks Workflows/Jobs.
- Data quality, profiling, validation, reconciliation and lineage.
- Azure data services, ADLS and Azure DevOps.
- Healthcare data experience, particularly claims, eligibility, membership or provider data.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Ownership, accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
