Full Stack Java Developer

This is a remote role, open to candidates based in the United States.

About the role

We’re looking for a Full Stack Java Developer to design and build microservices with Spring Boot and modern front ends with React or Angular, and to ship them to the cloud using containers and Kubernetes.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience.

Back end

  • Strong expertise in Java (8 and above).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
  • A solid understanding of Spring MVC, Spring Security and Spring Data JPA.
  • Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON and HTTP.

Front end

  • Hands-on experience with React or Angular.
  • Strong JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  • HTML5, CSS3 and responsive UI design.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or NgRx.

Cloud and DevOps

  • Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
